For me, painting murals is a collaborative act, a conversation between the space and the people who inhabit it. I approach each project by engaging with the community, understanding their stories, dreams, and struggles. These narratives then become the heartbeat of my creation, infusing the mural with authenticity and relevance.
Community Leduc, AB 2023
This mural was commissioned by Jayman Builders to create a gathering space for the community, a safe space to learn to ride a bike. At the edge of the community bridging the forest to the houses I chose a train represent what Jayman brings to the community and how it all meshes together.

A portion of the back barriers were painted by the grade five class from the school down the road. I had the beautiful experience of painting in the evening while several of the children came to show their parents how they contributed to this landmark.

The pelicans, ducks, swing, fountain, trees, houses, flowers, and red lamp posts were chosen by inspiration of the surrounding area.

Space Heist Athlone, Ireland 2023
This piece was commissioned by Athlone City Storage in Ireland. They wanted something eye catching to promote their business. They were interested in a stencil style Banksy piece, which was seeming impossible on this corrugated surface. I came up with the concept of this image from Ocean’s 11 breaking into the facility, only to find outer space, which is tongue and cheek about the space facility and its level of security. I hand painted the image on the wall, using the texture to my advantage of creating an illusion of the image floating on top of it.

Bone and Biscuit Leduc, AB 2023
This mural was commissioned by a local pet store to promote the unique way in which dogs and cats digest, their genus and some wings for four legged visitors to try on.

Congregate Leduc, AB 2022
Struggling with the aftereffects of the pandemic, I was determined to create a microcosm of community. Using people from the community to model the shadows, this dreamlike abstract representation captures the essence of experience.

It connects us, from the beginning. The call to repair. To connect together. Acknowledge our part, this land, acknowledge.
This mural was commissioned by Leduc Wall Fashions to bring joy and engagement in the community.

Thomas Ano Asites, Greece 2022
I worked for the family that owns the sheep bell factory in town, a cutting edge industry in the region, of which I learned more than I knew was possible. Vultures are a common bird in the area, mainly around the canyon. I had the compelling experience to view one of these magnificent birds in the area. I wanted to represent the Greek landscape, the rolling hills, the conglomerate of mixed foliage, and an ode to the flag represented by the four stripes.
The shadows of the trees were used as a part of the design, so that the image sits in the space, complimenting it.

For the first time, I spilled an entire can of red paint. On myself, on the ground. But it was providence, because it is clearly meant for Thomas.
Mauser House Costa Rica 2022
On an artist residency in Costa Rica, I had the opportunity to leave a small mark. Costa Rica has a contrast of villages and jungle. I wanted to represent this through the use of masculine and feminine, the buildings and the flowers.
