In the execution of painting four of my murals, I have pointedly taken fresh shoes and allowed them to envelop the drips and smudges of the painting experience. There’s a certain intimacy in this art form—knowing that the shoes I paint will travel with me, stepping through moments of joy, marking milestones, and becoming a silent witness to my adventures. It’s an art form that blurs the lines of space and impact, inviting a shared experience of artistic expression, and taking a piece of my murals on the road.
